Here they come, gnome-heads popping through the damp ground cover— Easter egg ground portals, faerie’s dinner plates signaling delicious abundance. Here, too, I am found, amidst the understory of swaying giants. I glow like golden forest floor treasure, intoxicated by the smells of dewy, sun-warmed earth and pine. You are what you eat!
This is the first in what I imagine will be a long, long, looooooong line of Forager Series Medicine Hats, though each will be unique and delightful, just like the many thousands of fungal species out there in the big ol’ wild world.
